It was $15,900 brand new, has anti-lock brakes, stability control, VVTI engine and front, side and side curtain airbags.

It also gets 37 miles to the gallon, is air conditioned, and has an automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

I am 6' 3" tall and weigh 230 pounds, and this car seats me comfortably. I also play music, and this car hauls all my speakers and equipment, no problem.

I shopped extensively but comparably equipped American cars were $20-22,000 and didn't get near the gas mileage and since I have low income, I couldn't afford them.

I would buy an American car, but there are no American cars this well equipped and engineered at this price.
