They might improve and get better rating in the future, but I bet the company will simply give the US government a different car so it can pass the safety tests. But the cars that go into production are probably not so safe. I wouldn't be surprised to see a flood of safety recalls in this car's future. Chinese companies have a terrible reputation for quality. Can you think of any Chinese brand that is known for quality? I can't. I hate to generalize but its true.
