52. Not because of politics, no ...

I lived most of my life in a so-called "red" area. And yes, I can say that there was no more danger there than where I am now, in a nice little liberal enclave inside of Houston. (All my neighbors are fairly liberal. Obama stickers and signs ruled the entire apartment complex during the election season.)

Most of these people are just blow-hards. Most of even them don't blow around anyone they don't know. And most of the ones I knew personally could easily put aside politics after the argument was over.

I am far more concerned for my personal safety where I am now. And, it has nothing to do with politics.
