... and ask the one without health insurance if she has enough money for the shot. She's pregnant and runs a pre-school; if her OB recommends the vaccination for her and if her pediatrician recommends it for her 4 y.o., paying out $25 apiece for them is not a problem for me.

The last time I really got the flu I ended up with pneumonitis as well. I decided I had relied on my own immunity long enough, and have had a flu shot every year since then.

I don't know if H1N1 vaccine will be available here later in the Fall, but I figure that if I catch H1N1 at least I won't already have been weakened by regular influenza.
