33. I will tell you honestly, I take no glee in the Presidents mistakes.
It breaks my heart watching him move to the right. While you find it difficult to be good to people you perceive as finding glee in our troubles I have to say I have just as hard a time trying to be polite to those who hammer anyone who questions anything Obama does, is really leftie or brings up a topic they think might shine badly on Obama. But most of all, ironically, I find it hardest to be polite to those on the board who treat others with a complete lack of civility.

I think there is nastiness coming from people on both sides and perhaps the majority of the people on DU who ARE nice, compassionate, intelligent people need to start letting those who are stirring up the bad feelings and stifling discussion that they need to stop.

We can disagree and still behave like rational adults. I try to think of how I would behave in a coffee shop type discussion setting and act accordingly.

And thank you for the compliments, you made me smile this gloomy New England morning.
