18. Free and Fair Elections Amendment

Excellent documentation of the problems we face. Given how these problems shake democracy to its very core, it seems to me that a constitutional remedy is required. Legislation will provide short term solutions, but this is so essential. My group has proposed a Free and Fair Elections Amendment to the US Constitution. It would read:

"A well-regulated election, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to an audited, voter-verified, certified paper record of the vote, shall not be infringed."

It's not THE answer, but it is part of answer. Any thoughts?
