1. Ah yes, the sense of entitlement
I don't know why some people feel they are entitled to free stuff. It is especially irksome when you work for or have your own small company. Nowhere is this more true than a confection shop. I'm a chocolatier and the shop I've been recently managing sees this kind of stuff all the time. Some come in and ooh and ahh at the stuff, do some shopping ask a few questions. Nice people. It is usually a pleasure for me to offer them a taste of something somewhere along the way. Then there's the assholes who are loud and obnoxious, barely all the way in the door before they start "jokingly" demanding to know where the "sample tray" is. 99% of the time those folks have zero intention of buying anything and are out to get whatever they can for nothing. Guess what they usually get from me....nothing. Assholes.
