It's not delusion to understand that this night could have been much worse.

It's not delusion to know that we can either cry and lick our wounds or take a breath and come out fighting.

Yeah, the reality is there are a lot of dumb fucks in this nation. And there are a lot of lazy people who could have come out tonight but didn't. That is the reality.

But everything in politics is transient. This is a baseball game; this is a volleyball game. It will be for the foreseeable future. We're never gonna have a zero-loss season. And sometimes we're gonna lose the series. At this point, you have two options: walk away whimpering, or taking a breath with eyes on the next battle.

I'm not going to walk away whimpering.
