I'm dreading Obama's speech today

Because of what it probably might contain. A lot of reaching out to republicans and pledges to work together, and a general tone of chagrin. Hate to say it, but it will probably be a wimpy speech that tells the republicans that just about whatever they want is on the table, as long as they give back a few crumbs.

Its disgusting how the republicans didn't cooperate with the Dems when they got swept in the elections two years ago, but now they are claiming to to be the voice of the people and will get a lot of what they want even though they only control one chamber.

I hope I'm wrong, and a fiery and defiant Obama will come out and tell the republicans they are in for a tough fight from now on, that he won't back down from them or give in, but I'm prepared to be disappointed and instead hear a tone of capitulation and bi-partisanship.
