obama is slightly more transparent than any of his predecessors but he has been unable to resist, like all others, the reach of corporate influence.

also his pragmatism and political self preservation instincts keep him lurching right.

i guess he has no choice as effective as the right wing echo chamber has been in the last few yrs to infiltrate news media, cable media, radio in addition to its stronghold in the corporate world.

unfortunately university is the last great bastion of liberalism....i want to go back to school
