I swear that open secrets in not having the numbers split by individuals and PAC misses a big opportunity to make finding the full truth easy.

Here is a page that shows the total PAC donations by Republicans and Democrats - http://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/sector.php?cycle=2008&txt=E01 For all oil companies, the Democrats got $2,225,250. Republicans got 3 times as much.

As to Obama and PACs, here is the opensecrets report - he took almost no PAC money - it rounds to 0%.
