Local progressives were destroyed in order to let their Blue Dog Competitors win. And then lamenting the fact that in 2009 there simply were not the votes to get things like the public option done.
We weren't the ones who immediately upon achieving the Oval Office suddenly became about bipartisanship and "reaching out across the aisle" (While calling the very base of voters responsible for their mandate "retards")
Anyway as far as the firing squad analogy, Pot, please meet Kettle.
