Getting people back to work and making the rich pay a fairer share will probably be enough to alleviate much if not all of the problems. Long term budget projections are notoriously inaccurate just like long term weather forecasts.
The GOP is desperate to spread the lie that government runs like a household budget or business. It doesn't and it shouldn't.
Your children or grandchildren will not be paying 80% income taxes simply because then they wouldn't be able to spend money on anything but survival and no corporation could survive with that.
