Armed with information, that is. Between citing the Congressional Budget Office, and the comment about "Call it what you want, but it's not Medicare," it sounds like the crowd was ready for every mindless talking point Ryan could regurgitate. This could be one of the reasons Republicans hate educating the population; reality and its well-documented liberal bias isn't something they want to intrude on their diktats to the masses.
