Reply #1: So are all the graphs 'confirmed' nominees or only Obama's?

Also, the quote at the top of the page has to do with 'nominations' but does not mention 'confirmations'.

I would like to point out that when looking at ALL of Obama's federal judicial 'nominations' (those that have already been confirmed and those still waiting in limbo at the Senate) President Obama's percentage of female nominees is even much higher than the percentage shown in the graph of the 'confirmed' nominees up above in the OP :)

I did a quick count of them they other night and there were only 'six' less females than males so far nominated.

Here are the totals below of 'all' fed judicial nominees, confirmed and pending in the Senate (if I didn't miscount)

Male - 68
Female - 62
