8. Most of the people I encounter who oppose any smart
ID are teabaggers. It's endemic with them. There may be others, I suppose. For me, I don't mind. I'm not hiding anything. Frankly I'd like a single, universal ID that served as the only ID I needed. And I'll supply my birth certificate, fingerprints, iris print, retina print and any other information they need for it. I'm tired of dealing with expiring IDs. I'm who I am. I meet my obligations. I don't mind who knows who I am.

For others, I suppose there are reasons for opposition. I just don't have any of them.
