16. Yes. Cotton has a Hunter-Jumper way of going and would make an excellent X-country prospect also.
I am a hunt seat equitation/ dressage rider.

Unfortunately, I lost my job and my health insurance when my baby boy was 4 months old. So, I can't afford to finish training and starting her under saddle and I can't do it myself because I can't afford to get hurt (I've got a mortgage, no job and a baby.) :( So, Cotton is a lawn ornament right now.

I am working with her on the ground as much as possible (turns on the forehand and hind quarters, side passes, backing, lunge line and round pen work, etc.) I am going to have to sell her. However, the economy in GA is just dreadful and hardly any one is buying horses. I want her to have a good home but I also need to reduce expenses. Oy! it breaks my heart. :( She's my equine baby.

Your boys sound just wonderful! I love TBs! Cotton's momma was a registered TB and Cotton is a registered Oldenburg. I may take her to the mare approvals this spring. She would make a great Oldenburg brood mare and the registration/approval would make her more valuable. (Oldenburgs must be inspected and approved by the German Oldenburg Verband).

Well, I'm off to the farm!

Have fun with your horses today! Keep in touch! I love to talk about horses! CB :)
