There are people who have been Democratic Party members for decades who have been frustrated with the leadership ever since Bill Clinton came on the scene. The attacking of labor, the attack on social programs, etc...these all have ramifications on party loyalty. And they should....a party is meant to represent the interests of it's supporters, not the other way around.

Calling them "Palin" democrats just alienates more people, when you should be trying to renew their interest. It's counter-productive.
