*He* isn't the one doing the rating or devising the rating system. So my understanding (from the other poster) was that the prof was asking the question 'why (does this rating system rate) black women...."

But now that i've read the article, he does seem to be taking the results at face value when he talks about testosterone, etc.

my second question would be, what does rating the "attractiveness" of different racial groups have to do with adolescent health, & why is our government funding such crap?
