14. Many churches have used this public apology idea in the past. It is
supposed to be both parties that apologize but I can tell you that was not often the case. I think that was why it was abandoned in most churches - unfair and often the rich bought their way out of the apology. It is a humiliating process that does no good whatsoever. It is why I left the church for many years. Only went back when the practice was abandoned.

The only one I confess my sins to is God.
