1. in California, it's currently estimated that every tax dollar spent on higher education...
...generates over $4 in return on investment through future tax revenue and increased productivity. And yet we're cutting support for higher ed as fast as we can. It makes no sense at all. The way out of these economic difficulties is to educate workers, not to cut our investment in education!
