I miss Ted Kennedy

For some reason, I thought about Ted Kennedy and the rest of the Kennedy family. We need that spirit to come to life again in the Democratic party. We need to rise above the petty bullshit and remember that as Democrats we have to stand up for and defend those who have no voice. We can't trust any republican to do it, we as Democrats have the honour and obligation to get the job done. President Obama is doing an impossible job under conditions that were not of his making. I think it's time that we, as Democrats acknowledge how lucky we are that he got elected and that we do what we have to do in order to elect as many Democrats in the next election as possible. Piss and moan all you want, but remember that if we can't pull it together and we let the republicans win, we all lose.
