What happened, is that he was a talk radio junkie from back in the early days As he grew older, he never broadened where he got his information. He was a failed musician, a bit bitter in life, lost opportunity and all that. He also became a little paranoid and conspiracy theory prone. So Limbaugh was a major contributor to his political education. He was easy to argue with, being basically ignorant (as well as full of shit) but impossible to convince using facts. He was also hilarious when he wanted to be, probably could have done stand up.

He died from complications of a stroke, and I've always wondered how much of that bitter anger contributed to his state of health. Died without healthcare, having to use whatever charity care the state of Arizona had at that time. His former SO is convinced to this day that he received substandard care, and I wouldn't doubt it one bit.

Although it's doubtful, given how indoctrinated people tend to be, you might have done some good for another human being right? Good on ya.
