Obviously we know that what was put forth was not true, I most definitely felt that at the time as well. But that does not prove that they were altogether fabricated.
It seems to me that loose interpretations to suit an agenda vs. verifiable outright lies would be a legal distinction probably not worth wasting time on. I seem to remember that a sitting president was recently unsuccessfully impeached for lying.

Whether they lied or not, congress passed war resolutions. Thus, the wars were\are legal.

Torture was legally justified by bushco's DOJ. To challenge that policy that was based on an advisory legal interpretation is a non starter.
