30. Besides, It's Not Even True
Poor people gave me plenty of jobs. My grandma was retired and living off of Social Security (aka "sponging off the government" in rightie-speak), but she still paid me to mow her lawn every week. My neighbors did too, and none of them was rich.

And when I got older, I worked for a fast food restaurant that went bankrupt, a lumber yard that is now out of business, and I drove a truck for a company that also went out of business. When I graduated from Law School and passed the bar, I worked for 2 different small law firms who were constantly in danger of having their doors padlocked because of all the money they owed to various creditors. They weren't "poor people." They were worse than that. Poor people have nothing, or close to it. These companies manipulated the American credit/banking system, so they had LESS THAN nothing.

And now I work for myself. I'm not even close to rich. But I gave myself a job.

So yes, "poor people" create jobs ALL THE TIME.
