Why are our guys proposing deeper cuts to Medicare/Medicaid and smaller increases in revenue than the recommendations of the bipartisan Simpson/Bowles deficit commission? Why are our Democrats on the committee proposing something to the right of the "Gang of Six?"
Does this make sense to anyone? It's not like the two bipartisan examples lack for cruelty or avarice, so why pile more on in our delegation's proposal?
