Note that not all the nays are Republican. For example, Becerra, a member of the dwindling House Progressive Caucus voted "no." However, the guy in D.C. I trust most, Mike Capuano, also a member of the House Progressive Caucus, voted "yes." I think I might have voted with Becerra, but I am not sure.

In the Senate, there were 8 nays, one of which came from Harkin, one of the more liberal Democratic Senators still there. On the other hand, the most liberal, Indie Sanders, voted yea.

When Harkin votes the same way on significant legislation as Paul and Grassley; and Sanders votes the same way as Sessions, you have to scratch your head some.

What the House did not vote on at all: Hurricane Sandy relief. Let the victgims eat tarps. Or TARP.
