Is it a fair statement to say that...

...all government employees (local, state, and federal) could be considered "Socialists"?

I am not saying this in a derogatory way.
I am saying this because I work in local government with Tea Party/Freeper types and would like to spell out for them who they are when the right time presents itself.

After all, when your paycheck, health insurance, and retirement pension are all owned and controlled by government...in other words government owns the means of production and distribution of your livelihood right down to the work boots you wear and the vehicles you drive...isn't that a socialized work and livelihood existence?.

And what about the military?
Or what about those working via government contracts (such as the "defense" industry)?
Isn't the line blurred here also considering these are not private sector dollars supporting them either?
