Perhaps it was that I had come to expect more from him. The piece he did about new House Speaker Boehner seemed shallow to me, like he had phoned it in. Taibbi is great at compiling and then explaining information in an approachable way. I realize now that the reason I dissed the Boehner article was that it wasn't up, in my opinion, to his standard.
In the newest issue of the Rolling Stone, Taibbi gets back to what I think he does best; chronicling the festering sore of our capitalistic mindset, WALL STREET.

I am lucky enough to have received a subscription as a Christmas present and once you get past cover stories about Justin Bieber or lil Wayne, the old Rolling Stone, the one I grew-up with, is still there, still taking shots at the Establishment.
