13. the word from CT
1. we Democtrats defeated Joe the last time in the primary and only a wierd set of circumstances enabled the Indies and Repubs to get him re-elected.
2. Joe then proceeded to help his Republican buddy in Maine, Susan Collins, defeat here Democratic challenger.
3. He then helped defeat GOOD health care reform and pass DEFORM instead.
4. In the last Senatorial elections, the national Democratic machine worked AGAINST CT's liberal Democrats and got Joe elected, instead of the great liberal Democrat whom we had chosen to replace Joe.
5. In the recent elections, while Democrats in the rest of the country was being massacred, we Democrats in Connecticut showed that we can come up with great liberal candidates and GET THEM ELECTED in all of our statewide contests.
6. The WORST thing that Patty Murray and the national Democratic machine could do would be to meddle in our state's PRIMARY process. Let our state's Democrats decide on the best Democratic candidate and THEN come in with national resources to make sure that candidate beats the REPUBLICAN and/or INDEPENDENT. DON'T use the resources of Democrats around the country TO FIGHT CONNECTICUT DEMOCRATS IN THE PRIMARY PROCESS.
