Everyone who's currently retired has paid more into SS, counting the compound interest earned, than they will ever see in benefits. This mime about the elderly being a drain on younger workers is Repig crap.

When USA jobs go overseas, the overseas workers are paid dirt, usually have no benefits, there are no expenses for pollution controls (ex: giant rivers of poison in China) and the US government lets those companies sell the products in the US without lifting a finger to put equalizing tariffs on them and then acts like it has no clue as to why there is high unemployment in the US.
