29. Even if they ate out every meal, paying $100 for breakfast and lunch -
and $500 for dinner on average, they are still only spending $252,000.00 a year on food. Or if they have a private chef they are paying very well to cook their dinners, they might be spending the $200,000 that is part of the $600,000 he has left to reinvest in his business and feed his family.
So, what happed to $5.7 million he supposedly had last year for income? Or is this revenue - it's not clear from the snippet you're providing. If it's revenue, then the $400K is not part of his income, that's an operating or development expense for his business, and his income would be $200K out of the $6.3 million revenue that his company made. So he'd only have to personally worry about the business taxes/fees/regulations, etc on the taxable portion of his $6.1 million dollars and income taxes on $200K. Which I'm sure he has loopholes galore to keep from paying more than the same amount of taxes someone making $40K is paying.

A business is not an ATM. Just because your business made $6.3 million, it doesn't mean that's what you made personally. Shareholders and operating expenses take a big chunk out of that money. If someone actually took accounting or Business Management classes, one would understand that...
