Actually, article is something of a misnomer; very little actual writing was done. It's just a handful of comments strung together, and an obnoxious stew of sexism and ignorance.
As for Janeane Garofalo's career, it's inaccurate to call her the female equivalent of Chris Farley. As Lawrence O'Donnell observed the other night, Garofalo gets more offers than she can possibly accept. Which is why we've all heard of her and not "entertainment expert" Patrick Wanis.
