Every time I had to bring him something, he'd make comments about how I must be craving his body. I was so repulsed. This was pre-Anita Hill -- I had never even heard of the term "sexual harassment," so I felt all alone in this. I finally asked a male co-worker to deliver things for me so I didn't have to interact with this guy. Eventually, I got promoted and my new boss was the head of the company. I told him what the harrasser would do and he told me that other women in another department had recently complained about him, too. Soon afterwards, the harrasser's V.P. read him the riot act -- and he learned to shut his slimy mouth.
