this is the thing. i always worked in environments where the majority of MEN would not allow that behavior to females and the male bosses worked hard to create a good environment for all employees. there was no foolin around with this. i value and appreciate those experiences. that is what is needed and that is why it is so bad when the boss behaves this way. he is not on female side and condones the behavior for all men to see, it is acceptable. i have never worked in an environment where it was condoned, even thru action.
