I wouldn't have thought it was disrespectful if given to Bush - quite the contrary.

I often wonder how much gets through to those in such an insulated position. They have to rely so heavily on others to find what's happening, and getting information that way is always subject to interpretation. Like all Fox news watchers believe one set of truths because that's all the input they get. Don't know how much time a sitting President actually has to take the pulse of the people, and I think this note did a good job of reminding him what spawned OWS.
