Governor's views on social issues could doom AmendforArnold movement
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Lissa Morgenthaler-Jones, a 47-year-old Silicon Valley money manager, wasn't prepared to think much of Arnold Schwarzenegger when she met him at a fund-raiser two years ago.

"I thought, 'Austrian meatball,'" she said. "But then five minutes after I met him, I thought, 'You could go all the way to the White House.'"

Morgenthaler-Jones signed on with Schwarzenegger's gubernatorial campaign during last year's recall and served on his finance committee. A year after that historic election, she thinks the governor's office doesn't seem large enough for what she calls "Arnold Power."

2. Wrong image.
Wear a shirt with a picture of Soros on it, and make sure it is labeled with his name, for those not familiar with his image.

Also have a label supporting the amendment.

That might make those idiots think about it.

4. Don't be silly
Don't be silly. Assuming Soros even wanted to run for president (he doesn't), it would be a waste of time. He'd just be another in a long list of presidential vanity candidates (Perot, Nader, Forbes, etc.) who go nowhere. Name one person with no elected office in their background that has ever been elected president. You can't. It doesn't happen. (Going back 200 years doesn't count.)

If he's serious, he needs to start by getting elected to a lower office, like governor, congressman or senator.

5. Of course Soros doesn't want to run for President.
The idea is to make the fundies and repukes angry. Do it because they hate Soros so much.

Make them think about their stupid amendment, and about who could be president.

Mock them. Make everyone laugh at them.

Stop being so obtuse.

7. All he needs is that -R in back of his name
and they'll forgive anything. His prochoice views won't matter, since he'll be whipped into shape by all the Dumbya court apoointments overturning any prochoice, civil rights, environmental, or pro scientific thing he tries to do.

6. Not for dual nationals--The person must have renounced
his/her previous citizenship or they are presumed to have divided loyalty. Anything else is tantamount to electing a foreign national to the presidency.

8. This Morgenthaler-Jones person
admitted in that Austin Tx radio interview that she'd only spoken to Ahnold 4 times in the past month, and each of those conversations lasted between 30 to 60 seconds, so I don't know what her agenda is, and I don't think she knows what she is doing, much in the same way sheeple voted for Bush based on Fauxnews propaganda. According to her, he just said wonderful when she told him what she was doing. I think she's nuts and another example of where we don't want to go in this country.

12. Once the red states realize
that this would also open up the Presidency to a Mexican immigrant, "Game Over".

Personally I favor the ammendment, but I'm not comfortable with doing this just to enable a specific individual.

13. being on steroids doesn't make you bigger in the right muscle.actually mak
it smaller try 1-2 inches fully aroused. also these idiot bodybuilders are no more stronger than 130lb man....They just blow themselves up not become super strenght...It's been a myth...Steroids also caused your wee wee to get smaller and you start losing your hair.....See Arnold with his receding headline.

16. Not quite.
The penis is not a muscle. Steroids won't do much one way or the other for it. However, too much testosterone can make the testicles decrease output and shrink (since the body sees them as not necessary anymore).

Steroids don't, by themselves, make you stronger, however muscle built up on steroids is the same as muscle built without it - you'll be just as strong. What steroids mostly help you do is recover faster from a workout, so you can work out more often. By recovering faster, they also make your system sink more calories into building muscle.

While there's lots of Really Bad Things that can happen from taking steroids...a shrinking pecker is pretty far down on the list. (acne, kidney problems, liver problems, etc.).

15. While they push "amending for Arnold," I shall push "amending for bush":
how about a one-year presidential term? disqualify people whose close relatives have been president? require candidates to pass a reading test? enshrine the international criminal court in the constitution, so we can prosecute war criminals?
