Norwegians Confused by Bush Salute
OSLO, Norway -- President Bush's "Hook 'em, 'horns" salute got lost in translation in Norway, where shocked people interpreted his hand gesture during his inauguration as a salute to Satan.

That's what it means in the Nordics when you throw up the right hand with the index and pinky fingers raised, a gesture popular among heavy metal groups and their fans in the region.

"Shock greeting from Bush daughter," a headline in the Norwegian Internet newspaper Nettavisen said above a photograph of Bush's daughter Jenna, smiling and showing the sign.

For Texans, the gesture is a sign of love for the University of Texas Longhorns, whose fans are known to shout out "Hook 'em, 'horns!" at sporting events.

Someone commented at the time they were confused about her giving the Satan sign. No matter WHAT they intend by it, it IS ironic that it's also the sign of the Devil...from a family who bases their strength so much on God.

"But the key fire passage in the Burning Bush speech - "We have lit a fire as well; a fire in the minds of men" - actually has its origins in a novel by the 19th century Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Devils, about a group of terrorists' ineffectual struggle to bring down the tyrannical Tsarist regime."

5. He probably is a Satan worshipper...ever hear of their annual secret club?
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 12:29 PM by KingoftheJungle
Ever hear of the Bohemian Grove?

BEHIND THE COUNT: All eyes will be on the California secretary of state's office today for the big recall count -- but the real plays are going well behind the scenes.

The biggest question, of course, is whether Arnold Schwarzenegger -- who just got back from a European promo tour -- will make this the biggest story of the year by jumping into the fray.

And now that the clock is ticking, the time for playing cute is rapidly coming to an end.

"Everything is set up to go if he says 'yes,' but it's do-it-or-get-off-the- pot time," admitted one source close to the Terminator. "My expectation is that he's talking it over with his wife right now."

One of the keys in all this will be the final round of words between Schwarzenegger and former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan -- who is being urged to run by more liberal Republicans.

"The bottom line," our source told us, "is if Arnold goes, Dick won't. If Arnold doesn't do it, then it's highly likely Dick will -- it's between the two of them to hash out."

From what we've hear, the Republican hierarchy -- especially those close to former Gov. Pete Wilson -- would favor Schwarzenegger. At least that's the word that came out of the Bohemian Grove this past weekend, where a number of state and national GOPers, including presidential adviser Karl Rove, happened to have gathered at a club getaway.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2003/07/23/BA253080.DTL&type=printable

""Wanna go to the Bohemian Grove with me this weekend?" asked my
friend. I can't! Why? Because I'm not a billionaire, I'm not a
man and I'm not a Republican! And besides, I have nothing to wear.

"We can fix that," said my friend. "From now on, you are going
to be Fred Armitage, GOP super-tycoon billionaire!" Fred?

Then my friend started handing me stuff. "Identification?"
Check. "Hong Kong-tailored sweatpants?" Check. "Chest binder,
voice deepener, toupee?" Check. "Limo driver?" Check. I felt like
James Bond.

The Bohemian Grove is where fantastically rich men from all
over the world go each year -- with one goal in mind: To learn new
and better answers to that age-old question, "What can we do to screw
America?"

http://www.aljazeerah.info/Opinion%20editorials/2004%20opinions/July/29o/My%20weird%20weekend%20at%20the%20Bohemian%20Grove%20By%20Jane%20Stillwater.htm

'Alex Jones, being a radio talk-show host had heard the rumors many
times, so he decided to look into it and did some research. To his
surprise, mainstream media articles from Parade Magazine, the
Associated Press, Reuters, the Sacramento Bee, and the Washington
Times confirmed the incredible. World leaders were traveling yearly
to the rural redwood-covered hills of Northern California and photos
actually existed of the giant stone owl and the men in black and red
robes.

"I was angered," Jones said, "that in over 50 years there had been
only a handful of news stories written on Bohemian Grove, and that
these stories calmly reported on the rumors and engaged in a
whitewash, thus hiding a giant story in plain view."

Reading about all the law enforcement and Secret Service protecting
the Grove's mysteries every July, Jones took the challenge of Jon
Ronson of World of Wonder Productions to "blow Bohemian Grove wide-
open with his hidden cameras."

After traveling from Austin, Texas to San Francisco, Jones and the
other members of his team met up with the British filmmakers and
began a three-day investigation before attempting to enter the Grove.

On July 15, 2000, Alex Jones and his assistant Mike, equipped with
two hidden video cameras and disguised as members of the Bohemian
Club successfully infiltrated the elite cult compound.

Read these articles, this is creepy shit! It is hard to believe that the world's most powerful men behave in such a way, but here is the documented evidence to expose it.

13. Alex Jones claims it is not the Texas Longhorns sign.

He claims the Texas Longhorns sign is supposedly made with the thumb and pinky extended and not the forefinger and pinky. I am not saying he is correct, because I don't know. Maybe any Texans reading this can clarify if this is the case.

See Alex Jones explanation here.

As a UT alumni here, the way bush is doing it is the Texas longhorn "salute".

It's still totally immature for a President to do this so often. Once was enough. What are the Oklahoma U. people going to feel like? Does bush give a damn? Nope. All divisiveness, all the time.

The whole ruling elite aiming for the NWO are simply using Christianity as a means to gather sheep for the slaughter. I'm sure they could give a rat's ass about Jesus' message of peace and love, for that kind of thinking is for heathan socialist hippies.

http://www.asljewelry.com/catalog.jsp/86

I disagree with Jones' 'hook 'em horns' illustration. I've only seen it done a la the pictured Bushies. Seems that the thumb position is the difference in the meanings and that seems too subtle for most 'casual' users.

I distinctly remember all the satan-fearmongering of the late 70's and early 80's, and learning that particular hand-sign was eeevul, and meant baaaaad things, and that the devil would getcha if you used it.

30 years later I move to Texas for gradschool at UT, and what do I find? They have this weirdo handsign that they wave around at all the games, and not only that, they have a HEX RALLY before important games!

WTF? In the bible belt?

See this photo from the amusing "George W. Bush is the AntiChrist" site:

http://66.135.33.70/bushisantichrist.com

The sign Bush uses is unambiguously the sign of the "horned god," which is understood by Wiccans everywhere. Christians and others seem to associate this with Satan, for whatever reason.

Which would be more likely to imprison people, most of them innocents, and force them to have sex with one another, pose for pornographic pictures, rape them, torture them, have their little children brought in and raped before them, and finally, beat them to death?

Hmm...that's a toughie.

Okay, who would be more likely to tell lies to start wars that will kill tens of thousands of innocents? Who would take money from the poor and disabled and give to people who have more money than they could ever spend?

By their fruits ye shall know them.

Secondly, .. no wait, actually that's it. No need to say anything else.

Besides, Bush saluting Satan on TV? That's like Britney Spears being seen drinking Pepsi in public.
