Bush to Seek Cuts in Medicaid, Benefits
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&e=3&u=/ap/20050121/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_benefit_cuts

WASHINGTON - President Bush (news - web sites) is readying a new budget that would carve savings from Medicaid and other benefit programs, congressional aides and lobbyists say, but it is unclear if he will be able to push the plan through the Republican-run Congress.

White House officials are not saying what Bush's $2.5 trillion 2006 budget will propose saving from such programs, which comprise the biggest and fastest growing part.

But lobbyists and lawmakers' aides, speaking on condition of anonymity, say he will focus on Medicaid, the health-care program for low-income and disabled people. Medicaid costs are split between Washington and the states.

8. When will the gassing start?
People who are too ill (physically or mentally) to pay their own way -- are a burden on the rich. So they need to be . . . ah . . . terminated. So just withhold or reduce their benefits and let them slowly die.

The next step is round up the useless ones and follow in Hitler's footsteps.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4187823.stm

Nazis 'gassed Hitler's relative'
'Aloisia V' came from a family with a history of mental illness
A member of Adolf Hitler's own family was one of those killed in the Nazi campaign to wipe out the mentally ill, according to two historians.

The woman, named as "Aloisia V", was the great grandchild of Hitler's great aunt - his second cousin, once removed.

She was gassed to death on 6 December 1940, at a mental institution in Austria, historian Timothy Ryback said.

Medical files show she suffered from schizophrenia, depression, delusions and other mental problems, he said.

Aged 49 when she died, she was one of thousands of mentally ill people - considered sub-human by the Nazis - killed or sterilised in a euthanasia programme meant to eliminate them.

Sorry to say it, but democracy just doesn't work if affected parties do not actively participate and assert their value to public officials. My own demographic, young women, is a great example. If they had all turned out, Bush wouldn't have stood a chance.

This was a state-based agenda that began implementation on the state level and the final stroke will be a federal bill.

Poor Mississippians HATE Haley Barbour. We picked up some Democratic support in this past election.

Bullshit. I only wish you were right.
But a considerable percentage of the American people have endured them for the past four years, seeing what these bastards truly are and their agenda for the nation, and they largely accepted it. The American people are reaping exactly what they have sown in the past two election cycles.

It's a scary question. How far could the Republicans really go, before the electorate finally rejected them?

I am reminded of just the first one hundred days of the first Bush*administration and how slack-jawed I was to watch everything I had believed and worked for, for over thirty years, erased - zip - gone. Disenfranchised. I didn't believe it could get worse....it did, and in spades. I simply can't imagine the destruction in the next FOUR years. I just don't think I can....

24. Make them suffer by removing aid and they will be forced to go to a
faith based charity church that will receive the tax payer money.

They will be humiliated, but they are used ot that, and forced to confess their loyalty to Jesus and become a member of that church, just so they can survive, eat and do the ordinary things of daily living.

and it will be done on tax payer money, without ANY accountability from those churches as to how the money is spent.

It is the benchmark of a civilized society as to how they take care of their less enabled. If we care for them, the society is stronger, not weaker.

But it seems, with even Hillary Clinton apparently pushing for it, this society will be driven by churches and religions who will get money to take care of these unfortunates and they will not even have to tell us where or how it was spent.
