Iraqi expatriates have two extra days — Monday and Tuesday — to register for the out-of-country vote in Iraq, organizers said yesterday.

''It was slow the first few days, and we just want to give everyone the opportunity to come in here and exercise their rights and get registered,'' said Dan Hodges, director of security for out-of-country voting in Iraq, explaining why the deadline was extended until 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Today was to be the last day of registration before voting starts on Friday.

Nashville is one of five U.S. cities where Iraqis can participate in the Iraqi Transitional National Assembly Election.

Voter registration hasn't even taken place in the western Anbar province as well as in Mosul, Iraq's third largest city. Officials say registration can take place on election day.

7. Would you have your name on one of those lists?
No one knows who is friend or foe. Sure the voter list is now being used to vote. Tommorrow they may be used to round up all Muslums to put in camps as is favored by 44% of the US population.

8. you noticed! real american democracy means tough luck if they "lose
your registration." here -- have a PROVISIONAL BALLOT. i imagine that would get you beaten up in a *real* democracy. i wonder how long their lines are going to be.
