Democrats Say Confirming Bolton as U.N. Ambassador Would Be Mistake
http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGBBICZND7E.html

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ahead of a contentious confirmation hearing, Democrats on Sunday sharpened their criticism of President Bush's nominee to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, saying John Bolton has a poor record as a policy-maker and little regard for the world body. snip

Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., said he thought there was very credible information that Bolton tried at least twice to have intelligence analysts removed from their jobs because he was going to state a position which contradicted the information that the intelligence community believed was correct.

"If in fact he tried to have people dismissed because he did not like the analysis, then I don't think he's qualified to serve," Dodd told ABC.

2. A "mistake"? HAH! How about an absurdity, a total up-yours to the UN
and the rest of the world? How about one of the most arrogant, contemptible, insolent, overbearing, prideful, self-destructive appointments ever made by a US President?

7. Right! That's in the Vice President's job description, dammit!
Only Dickless Cheney is permitted to spend four days in Langley twisting arms and making threats. :eyes:

8. Let Murder and Fraud Inc. put their worst foot forward
It will hasten their undoing.

What's the use of having someone in the U.N. who is going to pretend he isn't working for a fascist group of war criminals?

This guy is way better than Powell because Powell was so much more skilled and subtle in disguising what the group he fronted for was doing. Negroponte too, was also so much more refined in disguising Murder Inc.

With Bolton you know you're dealing with an out of control regime with no respect with international law. That's the way it is, so why pretend otherwise?
