Israel presents aerial photos of Iran nuclear sites to Bush
Edited on Tue Apr-12-05 08:21 PM by ac8916
JERUSALEM - Ariel Sharon’s military attache presented aerial photos of Iranian nuclear installations during the Israeli prime minister’s summit with US President George W. Bush, Israeli public radio reported on Tuesday.

General Yoav Gallan, who accompanied Sharon to Monday’s talks at Bush’s Texas ranch, presented the photos as well as information gathered by the Israeli intelligence services on Teheran’s nuclear programme.

The radio, which did not give details on how the photos were taken, said the images proved that the Iranian nuclear programme was at a “very advanced” stage.

White House spokesman Scott McClellan confirmed the two leaders had “talked about their shared concern about Iran’s intentions with their nuclear programme” but denied they had discussed the possibility of a preemptive military strike by Israel, aimed at ensuring Iran does not acquire atomic weapons.

7. Mossad went dumpster diving for Colin Powell's UN presentation
and dabbed a little Whiteout on the photos.

No one will question any of this....(until after the attack when oil prices spike at $100 a barrel).

3. Isn't Israel OLD ENOUGH BY NOW to take care of itself? They've got WMDs.
So use them to protect themselves.

Why bring the US into it?

10. Try Henry Kissinger's PhD Dissertation
published as a book, "Nuclear Weapons and Foreign Policy".

Nuclear weapons are a doomsday weapon. Using them is a murder-suicide pact. That was pretty much understood by every "launch crew" (nuclear subs, silos, B52's).

29. Who do you think bought all of those WMD's that they've got?
(that's why they 'want to bring the US into it'....we're already in - WAAAAAAAY in).

What product, goods or services does Israel supply to the rest of the world that brings them the income to purchase/develop the WMD's that they possess?

Please don't flame me for posting this, but it makes sense/is a fact. It seems that the US is giving Israel the money and technology.

(Please "set me straight" if I'm wrong on this fellow DU'ers)

11. I knew Sharon wasn't over here just to shmooze...it was to present the
photoshopped PHOTOGRAPHS! More WMD FOUND AND THIS TIME....in Iran...Shocking...just Shocking.

And who are they going to sell that old piece of worn out trash to...huh? Biden and Lieberman? And maybe Harmon and Rockefeller? Maybe Nelson of Florida?

But, ALL the Repugs are down at Uncle Ariel's knee for the "bedtime story" about how the Terrorists are ruling the world and Auntie Condi tucks them in and plays a little tune. (They don't even notice that "Auntie Condi" is play on the organ a little RW Fundie Gospel Music..in hopes of a "conversion.")

:-)'s and the Beat Goes On...and On and On...Laddi Daddi Dee...Laddi Daddi Da! the beat goes on...:-(

TV airs footage of Dimona plant

Al-Qods, Jan 8 - An Israeli television channel has for the first time aired footage of Israel's controversial top-secret Dimona nuclear facility.

Channel 10 showed the 15-minute video Friday as part of a documentary on the plant in the southern Negev desert, an installation which international inspectors have never been allowed to visit.

The footage consists essentially of wide shots of the compound's neatly-groomed gardens and there are no close-ups of the dome-shaped reactor, which can only be seen in the background.

Israel has never publicly acknowledged that it maintains a nuclear arsenal but foreign experts say it has used the reactor at Dimona to produce between 100 and 200 nuclear warheads.

Heard a month or 2 ago on the MSM that * said we would "back up" Israel if anyone attacked them. When we go to Iran it will be because of an "issue" between Iran & Israel.

The Spies Who Pushed For War

<snip>

The OSP was an open and largely unfiltered conduit to the White House not only for the Iraqi opposition. It also forged close ties to a parallel, ad hoc intelligence operation inside Ariel Sharon's office in Israel specifically to bypass Mossad and provide the Bush administration with more alarmist reports on Saddam's Iraq than Mossad was prepared to authorise.

"None of the Israelis who came were cleared into the Pentagon through normal channels," said one source familiar with the visits. Instead, they were waved in on Mr Feith's authority without having to fill in the usual forms.

The exchange of information continued a long-standing relationship Mr Feith and other Washington neo-conservatives had with Israel's Likud party.

In 1996, he and Richard Perle - now an influential Pentagon figure - served as advisers to the then Likud leader, Binyamin Netanyahu. In a policy paper they wrote, entitled A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm, the two advisers said that Saddam would have to be destroyed, and Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Iran would have to be overthrown or destabilised, for Israel to be truly safe.

27. Well, now we know what this big get-together
was really about-plans for the little emperor's next military misadventure. Isn't Scott Ritter doing a lecture series talking about how we are going into Iran in June? Figures.

This also gives the MSM something else to talk about, other than little man's ratings being in the toilet. First, they can talk about how the potential terrorists were plotting to blow up financial institutions (the plans for same coming up the last time W needed to change the subject and raise the terror alert for certain areas, ask my husband what a nightmare it was getting to work in downtown Newark last year) and then they can waste all sorts of airtime laying out this latest bit of propaganda, ahem, NEWS.
