1. Mitt, the Luddite Shit!
Lawmakers in both the House and Senate passed the bill with veto-proof margins. They are expected to override Romney's veto next week.

Not soon enough, IMHO--they should stay late, pass it today, and stick it up that clown's tight ass.

What gall that carpetbagger has...if he wants to impose his values on people, he should have run in Utah, where he is from, and where there are at least a few people who agree with his warped thinking.

Lame ass fool!

23. Our own toxic Ken Doll
Such an opportunist. Such a political chameleon.

I think that Mass citizens know one when they see one. He has no future here. We should send him back to Utah, or wherever he will next call home.

Can you think of one positive thing that he has done for the Commonwealth? One thing?

I would not be surprised if he soon comes down on the side of Intelligent Design as as preferred theory of how life came into being-- and discrediting Darwinian theory.

I suspect he will step us his anti-gay rhetoric, while there have been reports that he has personally attended gay legal marriages since the law took effect about one year ago.

Oh, and he will make political commercials again on the beach, with a fully open shirt-- to capture some of the vote from women and men who love his Ken Doll looks.

Blahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. If he's a moderate
Then Pat Robertson is a flaming Liberal.

Romney's as much a moderate as I'm a Bush supporter.

12. It's something I just can't understand
This guy is a Utah voters wet dream, his name is whispered is reverent tones by "the faithful". "President Mitt?" - let god rejoice.

How in the name of all that is liberal and pure did this guy get elected in Massachusetts?

17. The same way they all do: the media
The media always treats Republicans like the standard and the Democrats as trying to achieve that standard.

The media constantly hypes all Republicans as "Moderates", and talks up their talking points - - if they've held office for a billion years, the media talks about their positive accomplishments, their experience, etc; if they've never held office, the media plays up whatever their other successes are, and trumpets their lack of experience as being an outsider, maverick, etc. None of their wing nut positions or connections are ever discussed.

The Democrats running against them, however, are put under a microscope and are discussed in a totally different way. Democrats, according to the media, are always either "liberal" or have trouble convincing independents that they're "moderate enough", and Dems always have (supposed) Dem groups complaining about their lack of ideological purity and/or hypocracy...

It's totally insidious and most party big wigs are still clueless about it, blaming the candidates rather than building our own media and think tanks etc...

21. The conventional wisdom is saying that he was intending to run
...in the prez primary in hopes of auditioning for and securing the VP slot (as a 'northeastern' balancer--he's about as northeastern as Orrin Hatch!), but with PissyFrist going down like Titanic, he may be rethinking that strategy and try for the brass ring on the first go-round.

He's an empty suit, plus, he's an asshole. He should go back to buying up companies, firing the employees, and selling off the remains...it's what that parasite does best.

22. Actually Orrin Hatch is from Pennsylvania
Another carpetbagger. Until Santorum got elected, I always thought that Hatch had to come to Utah to get elected. What better place for a hateful homophobic megalomaniac to get elected? Things in PA must have changed in the intervening decades.
