Twin Bomb Explosions in Indonesia Kill 15

"JAKARTA, Indonesia - Two bombs exploded Saturday at a busy market in central Indonesia, killing at least 15 people and wounding 20 in a volatile region marred for years by religious fighting, a police official said.

The twin blasts occurred in the morning in the Christian-dominated town of Tentena, said Police Maj. Riky Naldo, deputy chief of police in nearby Poso, the coastal town where fighting between Muslims and Christians has claimed hundreds of lives since 2000."

3. My son is always going to Bali

I tend to worry about him and any other innocent people who are bombed to smithereens because religion wants to make a statement.

And I really worried about the Iraqis before bush starting bombing them in 2003.

5. Just a note ....
I lived in Hawaii and I know how easy "stuff" is for kids to get so.... make SURE!!! he understands not to do anything funny with drugs when he goes.

They are REAL REAL tough in that part of the world if you are caught with anything. Poor Chapelle Corby from Australia just got 20years - she claims someone (baggage handlers?) stuffed the weed in her unlocked boogie board bag - not sure if she's innocent or not, but a very harsh sentence. Lighter than the death penalty the prosecuters were originally seeking.
Also, I just saw a BBC documentary about Thailand too. They interviewed two brits in for life - one old, one young. Very sad - they lock you up and pretty much throw away the key.

4. But the world is much safer since we invaded Iraq.
With the spread of democracy and freedom and all on the march.
