Bush Honors War Dead in Radio Address

"Our citizens live in freedom because patriots are willing to serve and sacrifice for our liberty," Bush said Saturday in his weekly radio address.
(unlike bush**)

"Today a new generation of Americans is making its own sacrifice on behalf of peace and freedom, and some have given their lives," he said.

Retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark, who was a candidate for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination, said in the party's broadcast Saturday that Memorial Day recalled personal memories.

"This Monday, I will be remembering those in uniform who served in World War II and Korea and inspired me to enter military service in 1962," Clark said. "Like many others of my generation, I will also be remembering the many times I visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington. I will remember those who selflessly gave their lives and paid the ultimate price so that we could live in freedom."

...Thank you General Clark for redeeming this article. I wonder if the chimp has ever even seen the VV Memorial in a photo?

2. SO many infuriating little statements, and SO
little time. (on a slow burn)

I guess I'll just pick this statement and go with it...

"Our citizens live in freedom because patriots are willing to serve and sacrifice...."

Of course, we can't count Ol George in that group. So how can he honor these men and women? How can you honor something that you yourself weaseled out of?

5. Nice of Commander Cuckoobananas to honor the folks that died to make

his family wealthy from war profits. His family history is one of almost continuous war profiteering. And, yes, even financing both sides of the war at times.

Bush actively takes away from Americans all the freedoms that these folks fought and died for while sitting on the pile of cash that he and his family made by financing and investing in wars.

But then, he ran from military service during Vietnam and then lied about it when running for office.

What a swell fella. Our very own Commander Cuckoobananas, a chickenshit, chickenhawk, war profiteer.

On this Memorial Day, I would just like to say,

Fuck you, George W. Bush.
