9. This is puzzling
Los Angeles and San Francisco have only begun to come in, and they're against the recall. I checked the live update, and the Bay Area (except for Marin?), as well as Sonoma, Napa, and Humboldt counties are going against the recall. He should never concede before the major population centers have reported in.

In 2002, Portland and the heavily union coastal city of Astoria saved the Oregon governorship for the Dems. All evening, it looked as if the despicable Repiggie candidate was going to win, but Portland and Astoria saved the day.

and said that within 30 days there will be a move for recall, then with toungue-firmly-in-cheek saying "you didn't hear that from me"

11. So, how soon can you file a recall petition....
...and who will coordinate collecting the signatures?

C'mon, there must be at least a million sane people in CA, right?

bemusedly,
Bright

12. He should wait
Sure, I'm just being overly optimistic, but I hate to see Davis conceding with only 29-percent of the vote counted. Didn't we learn anything from Florida 2000?

Oh yeah, and I certainly hope Californians get going on a re-recall ASAP. That would be awesome!
