Britain to act against Muslim extremism - Blair

By Katherine Baldwin

LONDON, July 13 (Reuters) - Britain will move to close its borders to people suspected of preaching religious hatred and deport those already doing so as part of a plan unveiled on Wednesday to root out extremism in the wake of the London bombs.

Prime Minister Tony Blair announced four measures to parliament after police said they suspected four young British Muslims of carrying out suicide attacks in London last Thursday that killed at least 52 people.

"We will look urgently at how we strengthen the procedures to exclude people from entering the UK who may incite hatred or act contrary to the public good and how we deport such people ... more easily," Blair told parliament.

The government will also start talks with opposition parties in coming weeks on anti-terrorism legislation it had planned to bring before parliament in the autumn.

2. Just like in the US, this will only serve to abuse Muslims.

5. When will they get around to asking the Muslim community why they are
so pissed off that they are willing to put their life on the line?

6. But it's not 'the Muslim community'
it's a very few members of it. It's difficult to get an asnwer from them; if you do ask the Muslim community as a whole, you may get answers about what they don't like, but that doesn't guarantee they're the same reasons as suicide bobmers would give.

7. You would have to weight them by how pissed they were.
In any case we seem to have decided why they are pissed without asking them. For instance how many hate the infidel for screwing up the environment? I hear that is a no no in the Koran. Most of that type of info that our Government feeds us comes from the Shiites who are seldom if ever the insurgents.
