AUSTRALIAN Greens Senator Bob Brown was kicked out of the House of Representatives after interjecting during United States President George W Bush's speech.

Senator Brown interrupted Mr Bush's address to a joint sitting of parliament.

8. Bush's attempt to help Howard's re-election

Bush has used the Australian Parlaiment and his visit to Australia as a cynical attempt to help Howard get re-elected.

These guys will stop at nothing to acheive political power. Why would they give a stuff about Iraqi civilians. A pox on them.

9. it's backfiring a bit though, isn't it?

they're not game to have a motorcade through the streets, so that
means no flag-waving or cheering. I don't believe it's due entirely
to assassination fears - they also know that Bush loses it if he
sees protesters, and he'd see plenty. Very embarrassisng for Howard.

Whatever happens in the next election, I hope the Greens win more
seats and end up holding the balance of power in the Senate.
