Suicide bomb blast kills 12 in Iraq's Kirkuk-medics


KIRKUK, Iraq, Nov 22 (Reuters) - A suicide car bomber killed at least 12 people and wounded 28 in an attack in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Tuesday, police and doctors at Kirkuk's main hospital said.

The bomber detonated his explosives-laden car near several police vehicles on the main road leading out of Kirkuk to Baghdad. Five of those killed were police, Colonel Borhan Tayyib Taha said. Many of the wounded were also police.
