Bush Raising Another $1M for Re-Election
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uslatest/story/0,1282,-3341892,00.html

CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) - President Bush is scooping up another $1 million for his re-election fund in Alabama, a state that Republican presidential candidates have won in six straight elections. snip

On Sunday, the worst day of casualties for American troops since March, Bush stayed silent and out of public sight. A spokesman told reporters Bush was being briefed on the downing of a U.S. helicopter, which killed 16 soldiers and injured 20.

A $2,000-per-person fund raiser in Birmingham after the economic address follows Bush's standard formula: a private reception for the most prolific fund raisers, then a lunchtime speech to the whole group.

Before Monday's fund-raiser, the president's re-election war chest totaled about $92 million.

1. These idiots should get 'heartburn' for this disgusting hedonism!
In the very least! They're providing Bu$hCo with money to annihilate democracy...and, destroy the Middle East. May they all rot in hell!

5. When Hasen't He Traded
The chance to "look" look like a leader and not so much to stuff his "campaign chest?"

That's only my opinion, but I haven't seen anything that will disapprove it so far and I believe Will has the factual data at his fingertips to prove or shoot down my opinion.

Either way, I returned to Louisville to vote the sraight Dem ticket tomorrow.
